Ben is married to Meg Coleman. They met at Freed-Hardeman University where Ben received a B.A. in Youth and Family Ministry (2019) and a Master of Divinity degree (Graduate School of Theology, 2023).
Ben's relationship with Bartlett Woods began in 2019 when he joined the ministry team as the Youth Minister. After four years of service in this area, Ben transitioned into his current role as the Family and Education Minister. His primary focus is to instill an intergenerational discipleship mindset that encompasses both the personal and spiritual families to equip present and future generations to set their hope in God (Ps 78:5–8). He also leads the educational ministry at Bartlett Woods and seeks to help teachers everywhere unlock their full potential for God's glory.
In addition to his full-time work at Bartlett Woods, Ben serves as an adjunct instructor of Bible at FHU, co-leads the Teen Lectureship at the annual FHU Bible Lectureship, and he serves on the Evangelism Univeristy board and Horizons committee.
For fun, he enjoys playing pickleball with his wife, amateur softball with friends, and perfecting smoked meats, the Blackstone, and homemade cinnamon rolls.
Ben is also a certified SYMBIS facilator for pre-marital/marital counseling (2025). Learn more about SYMBIS here.
